Meritorious Students Felicitated in Pimple Saudagar for Academic Excellence; Career Guidance Seminar Organised
Pimple Saudagar, July 6, 2025:
“Classes 10 and 12 mark some of the most crucial milestones in a student’s life. These are not just exam results — they are defining moments that shape the direction of our future. Every decision made at this stage builds the foundation of what lies ahead,” said BJP city president Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate.
He was speaking at a grand felicitation ceremony held at Basuri Banquet Hall, Hotel Govind Garden in Pimple Saudagar, where meritorious Class 10 and 12 students from the Pimple Saudagar and Rahatani areas were honoured. The event began at 10 a.m. and also included an insightful career guidance seminar.
As the chief organizer of the event, Shatrughna Kate congratulated the students and offered inspiring guidance. He urged them to stay committed, work hard, and maintain a positive attitude. “There are no shortcuts to success. Hard work and consistency are the only keys. Failure is the first step toward success — learn from it and try again with renewed energy,” he said.
The ceremony celebrated 550 students who performed exceptionally well in SSC, HSC, CBSE, and ICSE exams during the 2024–2025 academic year. Special prizes were awarded to the top three rankers from each board, including bicycles, trophies, school bags, notebooks, pens, and certificates. All participating students also received school supplies and certificates, boosting their morale.
In the second session of the program, Vaibhav Bakliwal, Director of Bakliwal Tutorials and an alumnus of IIT Bombay, conducted a detailed career guidance session. He spoke on various career options, the importance of choosing the right academic stream, and the essential skills required to face future challenges. He also addressed student queries, helping boost their confidence through clear and practical advice.
Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate also emphasized the importance of skill development, social responsibility, and health. “You are the citizens of tomorrow. Education must not only serve your personal growth but also benefit society. Dream big and work relentlessly to make those dreams a reality,” he urged the students.
Students expressed gratitude for the event, saying it boosted their confidence and gave them clarity about their future career paths. They called it a meaningful milestone in their academic and professional journey.
