Metro station’s exit gates to be closed within 90 minutes for ticket holders: Pune Metro

Pune: In order to reduce the number of passengers in the metro station, the officials of Pune Metro have issued guidelines for the ticket holders. 

According to the guidelines, once a person has spent 90 minutes in a metro station, the exit gates of the metro station will be shut for the passengers, even after their tickets have been scanned.

As per further information from the X handle of Pune Metro, from October 1, 2023, the ticket-holding travelers may enter or leave the paid area as follows:

Following the purchase of a traveler’s ticket, you have 20 minutes to enter or exit at the departure station.

90 minutes are required for admission and exit at the destination station following the purchase of a traveler’s ticket.

Earlier, Pune Metro had announced that a discount of 30 percent will be given to passengers travelling on Saturdays and Sundays. This initiative aims to make weekend travel more convenient and affordable for Pune Metro passengers. Pune Metro has appealed that maximum number of passengers should take advantage of this discount.
