MLC Milind Narvekar Extends Rs 1 Lakh Aid For Onion Farmer’s Daughter's Education

MLC Milind Narvekar of the Uddhav Sena has extended financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to support the education of the daughter of an onion farmer from Beed district’s Ashti taluka, who was affected by unseasonal rainfall.
Mahesh Darekar, a farmer from Shindewadi village in Ashti taluka, had invested Rs 90,000 to cultivate onions on three acres of land.
With the expected earnings, he had planned to pay the school fees of his daughter Pragati, a first-grade student, and buy her books and stationery. However, due to unexpected rains, the harvested onions kept aside for sale were damaged, resulting in significant losses.
Distressed by the situation, young Pragati expressed her sorrow, saying her father wouldn’t be able to afford her snacks or books anymore.
Upon hearing her plight, MLC Milind Narvekar personally reached out to the Darekar family and provided immediate financial aid of Rs 1 lakh to support Pragati’s education.
