Mohamadwadi – Undri connecting roads stands with encroachments
Pune Municipal Corporation opened the connecting road between Mohamadwadi and Undri but the road towards Indian Oil Petrol has been encroached by shopkeepers. Residents have complained of fish shops, chicken and mutton stalls and nursery shops which have cropped up on the roadside areas.
Residents also complained that despite the road signs by PMC, heavy vehicles seem to move around the road blatantly. PMC should install a height barrier soon, demanded residents.
When Pune Pulse spoke to the road engineer of the area from PMC he said, “The work for the height barrier shall be completed shortly. Also, the other side of the road needs to be resurfaced, which will be done soon. “
