The Covid19 pandemic brought life to a halt. With no movement around the world, the tourist destinations too took a big jolt of the lockdown.

The local conditions seem to have improved by the end of October and life struggled for normalcy. With lesser restrictions, people moved to many local, national as well as international destinations. Things remained positive for everyone till the second wave started hitting us again. The businesses which struggled to revive rolled back drastically.

In a bid to understand the perspective of the impact of the second wave, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has asked the stakeholders, hoteliers, travel agents to fill up a survey form.

Deepak Harane, regional marketing officer, MTDC said “We need help from atleast 10 stake holders in your regions – these could be Hoteliers, sight seeing partners, travel agents, transport owners, restaurants who depend on tourism. This can help us prepare a plan and come up with initiatives to help the travel eco system recover back faster.”

It’s very simple and will take less than 10 minutes to fill, so more the responses better the analysis.
