Mucormycosis patients to be treated under Mahatma Phule Jan Aarogya Yojana for free; govt to provide free medicines
Patients recovering from Covid19 are now being affected with black fungus. The number of patients in the state are rising.
This treatment requires attention from various experts. The treatment cost is higher too and to release the burden off the patients, the state government has decided to offer free of cost treatment as well as medicines to the real beneficiary.
Minister for health, Rajesh Tope announced that the patients can get themselves treated at the hospitals which have Mahatma Phule Jan Aarogya Yojana. The medicines, anti fungal injections too are costly.

These medicines are facing shortage. These medicines shall be available through the local authorities and can be given free for the real beneficiary.
