Though the news has brought a big relief to the cinema lovers, the cinema theatre owners are still in a fix as they need preparation time to screen films.

When Pune Pulse spoke to Arvind Chaphalkar from Citypride Theater he informed that though the government has allowed to operate cinema halls but we are yet not been given any SOP. Also we need time to prepare ourselves to be able to screen films. Also our staff needs to be called in. Films should be allowed to be marketed before they are released. This entire procedure will take atleast minimum of 15-30 days period.

Surjit Singh, COO, Amanora Mall in Hadapsar sounded positive on the news and informed that the multiplexes were anticipating that the government would allow operations from November 1. But we are still happy that we can look forward to the big releases by Diwali. The multiplexes have already begun with their in house preparations and all geared up to open the places for cinema lovers.

Nishant Kansal from Elpro Mall in the Pimpri Chinchwad area told Pune Pulse that it is definitely a positive sign that multiplexes are allowed to open. We are hopeful that soon cinema lovers will be able to watch their favourite movies on big screen.

The government has also allowed yoga centers and indoor sports center to operate.
