Block for Installation of Gantry on Mumbai-Pune Expressway
The work of erecting a gantry on the Pune Channel under the Highway Traffic Management System on Yashwantrao Chavan Expressway (Pune Mumbai Expressway) is underway through the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation and the traffic from Mumbai to Pune will be completely closed on this stretch from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on November 21 (Tuesday).
As per further information, during this period light vehicles going from Mumbai to Pune will be diverted from Shedung Phata of the expressway to R.M.M. No. 48 Magic Point of Expressway from Shingroba Ghat on Old Mumbai Pune Highway Km. 42/100 and will be routed again on the Pune channel of the expressway.
Also, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation has informed that the traffic from Mumbai to Pune on the expressway will be resumed at 2 pm after the completion of the installation of the gantry.
