A bizarre and alarming phenomenon is gripping the residents of Buldhana, as a mysterious illness is causing widespread hair loss, with some individuals going bald in just three days.

The affected areas include villages in Shegaon taluka, such as Bondgaon, Kalavad, and Hingana, where hundreds of citizens, including women, have been affected. The sudden and severe hair loss has sent shockwaves throughout the community, leaving residents frightened and seeking answers.

According to eyewitnesses, the symptoms of the unknown virus include an itchy head, followed by excessive hair loss, and eventual baldness within three days. The rapid progression of the illness has prompted concerns about the government’s response to the crisis.

While some doctors suggest that the hair loss could be due to the use of shampoo, this theory is disputed by citizens who have never used shampoo and are still experiencing hair loss.

Shegaon taluka Shiv Sena chief Rameshwar Tharkar has urged the Buldhana district health officer to take immediate action and set up treatment camps in the affected villages. “The situation is alarming, and we need immediate attention from the health department,” Tharkar said.

However, the health department has yet to announce concrete measures to address the situation, sparking criticism about the government’s priorities. The state government is currently focused on addressing the HMPV virus, which has been reported in Nagpur.

As the situation continues to unfold, citizens are watching closely to see how the government will respond to the hair loss crisis in Buldhana. With the affected residents seeking answers and relief, the government’s response will be crucial in mitigating the crisis and restoring normalcy to the affected areas.
