Pune, October 16: This year marks the 20th year of Nandanik Sanstha’s Durga Puja. It is the blessings of Maa Durga and the support of all her devotees that Nandanik Sanstha has been able to serve the community for two decades.

This year too, we will be hosting Goddess Durga at Rohi Villa, Lane 7, Koregaon Park from 20th to 24th October, 2023. Celebrations will start with Mahashashti Puja on the 20thof October right until Sindoor Khela and Visarjan on Dussehra, October 24th, 2023. Pushpanjali and Sandhya Aarti will be conducted every day from 10.30 am onwards and 6.30 pm onwards respectively.

Gautam Banerjee, President, Nandanik Sanstha said, “20 years of Nandanik’s Durga Puja is a big milestone for the Sanstha. These two decades of hosting the Durga puja has been an opportunity to serve the devotees and the community through our small contributions towards social cause endeavours and also provide business opportunities to small and big organisations. Marking the 20th year we aim to treat Ma’s devotees to some exclusive and grand cultural programs.”

He added, “Two decades of Durga Puja has been only possible due to the love and support we have received from the devotees and local authorities of Koregaon Park. I would also like to mention that we are extremely grateful to Rohi Villa for giving us the space and ambience that makes Nandanik Sanstha’s Durgotasav a unique and grand celebration each year. Another achievement that we are proud of is that some stall owners have been associated with us for over 5 years.  The stalls at Rohi Villa are also an added attraction for the devotees and visitors, they definitely add to the overall experience of the Puja. ”

He further mentioned, “Like every year we will be providing bhog to Ma’s devotees for three days starting from Saptami till Navami and we feel so blessed to be able to do that without any charge. Our commitment to the environment is our top priority therefore, we do not encourage the use of plastics within the premises of the pandal. We use eco-friendly materials for the Idol and decoration; Garbage disposal and management at the source itself is also an area for which we take full responsibility. It gives us great pleasure to host Ma Durga with all our love and devotion and we seek the support of her devotees for the same.”
