Narhe : Two accidents occur on Pune – Bengaluru highway, no injuries reported
Two accidents on Pune Bengaluru highway occurred today morning. There were no injuries reported in both the accidents. First accident took place at 8.30 AM near Selfie Point near Narhe when the vehicle driver lost control over his vehicle and hit a car. The container driver ran away from the spot. The second accident took place at the same spot at 11.30 AM. The accident caused congestion on the road which was regulated by Sinhagad police station traffic division officials API Pandurang Waghmare and other staff.
The National Highway patrolling team removed the vehicle by using crane. The series of accidents at the same spot has become a cause of concern for not just the administration but also for the motorists. The administration has announced this spot as a Black Spot and has devised various measures to curb accidents. Due to series of accidents, a police chowky has been established at New Katraj tunnel which will be inaugurated today at the hands of Police commissioner Pune Retesh Kumar.
