Nashik Crime News: A mother in Nashik’s Cidco area took matters into her own hands when she found out that her daughter was being harassed by a group of miscreants. The incident, which has drawn widespread admiration, took place in the Shivshakti Nagar area under the jurisdiction of Ambad Police Station.
In recent days, the area had been plagued by eve-teasers standing on the streets and harassing women and girls. On Wednesday, a young girl informed her mother after being harassed. Determined to protect her daughter, the mother confronted the miscreants.
Mother’s Bravery Shines Through
The mother, after identifying the culprits, approached them and demanded an explanation. When one of the miscreants began arguing with her, she lost her patience and decided to teach them a lesson. Transforming into a “warrior,” she picked up a chair from a nearby scrap vendor’s cart and began punishing the harassers.
Incident Captured on CCTV, Police Take Action
The entire incident was captured on CCTV. Following a complaint from the locals, the police arrested four suspects involved in the harassment. The mother’s courageous act of standing up to the eve-teasers has been widely praised across the community.
