National Lok Adalat held on December 11 in Pune

National Lok Adalat was organized in all courts of the Pune district on December 11, 2021. More than 53,000 cases were kept at the court for redressal, while 90,500 pre litigation cases were kept for compromise. The courts had made arrangements for compromise and also to pay the penalty through e- challan. 

National Lok Adalat on November 25, 2021 had 8,963 cases while 3,08,873 pre litigation cases were closed with compromise. More than 8 lakh motorists were sent notices amounting to Rs 25 lakh unpaid challans. The defaulters should pay the amount online. Motorists should upload their changed contact details by downloading the M-Parivahan App or click on the link to change the mobile number – https://mahatrafficechallan.gov.in .

Sanjay Deshmukh, president, District legal Services Authority and Pratap Sawant, secretary District Legal services authority informed that citizens should attend the adalat and resolve their complaints.
