NIBM Road : Cloud 9 road to open within 20 days
The road work being carried out between Sunshree Kangan and Cloud 9 society on NIBM road in Kondhwa is nearing completion. The road work on one side of the road will be complete within 20 days as per the officials from the road department.
The road from Raheja Vista Premiere to NIBM road is complete and final layering of concrete will be carried out shortly. After which the one side of the road will be thrown open to the public.
Asif Siddiqui, a resident of Wanowrie complained that since the road is closed the local residents have a tough time. The road work must be carried out on war footing by the Pune Municipal Corporation in order to provide relief to the residents.Â
Another resident of the area, Rakesh Thakur complained that since the road is closed residents living around Raheja Vista, Ganga Kingston often have to take a long route which sees a long queue of vehicles. If this road is opened, the inconvenience faced by the residents will come down providing us a big relief.Â
A PMC official from the road department told Pune Pulse that the road is being levelled now and shall soon undergo concretisation. Once the complete process of concretisation is done, traffic will be allowed on one side of the road. This will bring down the burden on other parallel roads in the area.Â
