Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has unveiled a new vision where people could travel using drones. He emphasized that this service could be utilized for commuting from the city to the airport. 

Gadkari expressed optimism about the bright future of the drone sector and suggested that bio-aviation fuel might soon enter the market.

Anticipating rapid development, he envisioned a time when drones would enable four individuals to travel from the city to the airport.

During the inauguration of an Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) depot at MIHAN SEZ, Gadkari also highlighted the swift growth expected in the drone maintenance sector. He portrayed it as a crucial part of the future transport system. 

Additionally, Gadkari mentioned positive progress in the joint venture between Reliance and France’s Dassault, indicating the possibility of Rafale fighter jets being manufactured in Nagpur.

Advocating for green energy, he emphasized that reducing reliance on crude oil imports is achievable through promoting green energy initiatives, likening it to the “Quit India Movement.” Gadkari also announced plans to construct several greenfield highways in Kerala.
