NTPC & NHAI Join Forces to Transform India’s Roads with Innovative Ash Utilization

NTPC and NHAI have joined forces in a groundbreaking collaboration to bolster India’s infrastructure by incorporating Ash from Thermal Power Plants into the construction of roads. 

NTPC’s substantial 3,000 Crore contract via GeM reaffirms their dedication to the development of environmentally friendly and long-lasting roadways.

Approximately 70% of the road construction Ash by NHAI will be obtained from NTPC, demonstrating a mutual commitment to sustainable development. NTPC’s initiatives in Ash Utilisation highlight the potential of utilizing industrial by-products to stimulate economic growth while upholding environmental accountability.
