Oben Electric, a leading Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched its new electric motorcycle, the Rorr EZ, at an introductory price of Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom). This limited-time offer aims to make electric mobility more accessible to a wider audience.
The Rorr EZ is designed to provide a seamless riding experience, with a focus on simplicity and comfort. It eliminates the usual hassles of clutch and gear shifting, vibrations, and rising fuel costs. The bike is available in three battery options: 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh, providing flexibility for different user needs.
Powered by Oben Electric’s advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology, the Rorr EZ offers impressive durability and performance. The LFP battery provides 50% better temperature resistance and twice the lifespan of conventional battery types. This battery enables the Rorr EZ to achieve a top speed of 95 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. With a range of up to 175 km on a single charge, the bike also boasts fast-charging capabilities, reaching 80% charge in just 45 minutes.
The motorcycle is equipped with Oben Electric’s proprietary ARX framework, which enhances stability and maneuverability, especially in city traffic. Its neo-classic design combines modern aesthetics with practical functionality, making it a stylish yet efficient choice for urban commuters.
For riders seeking a personalized experience, the Rorr EZ offers three driving modes: Eco, City, and Havoc. These modes allow users to adjust performance to balance battery efficiency or maximize speed. The bike also comes with a suite of safety features, including Under Battery Alert (UBA), Geo-Fencing, Theft Protection, and Driving Assistance System (DAS).
The Rorr EZ is available in four vibrant colors—Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green, and Photon White. For added convenience, Oben Electric is offering flexible EMI options starting from ₹2,200 per month, making it easier for customers to own the e-bike. The bike also comes with warranty packages offering coverage of up to 5 years or 75,000 km.
As part of its expansion strategy, Oben Electric plans to open 60 new showrooms across key cities in India in the coming months. The company currently has a presence in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur and Kerala and is focused on strengthening its retail network to cater to the growing demand for electric mobility solutions.
