Pimpri is witnessing a surge in congestion rather than relief as the implementation of one-way traffic between Bhumkar Chowk, Vinodevasti, and Lakshmi Chowk leading to IT Park Hinjewadi proves to be problematic.

Local citizens and traders are forced to take a detour of two kilometers due to this traffic arrangement. Shiv Sena MP Shrirang Barne has directed the police administration to take immediate and effective action to address this issue.

A formal statement has been submitted to Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey highlighting the concerns. MP Barne emphasized that the one-way traffic system on the Bhumkar Chowk Vinodevasti and Lakshmi Chowk route towards IT Park Hinjewadi is causing significant inconvenience and suffering for residents and businesses in the area.

Daily activities now require a lengthy detour of two kilometers, causing frustration among the locals. The traffic situation in the area has worsened, leading to frequent congestion, while pedestrians struggle to cross the road safely.

Residents and businessmen in the affected area have expressed their grievances regarding this matter. They expect a swift resolution, and there is a warning of roadblocks if the issue remains unaddressed.

Recognizing the urgency and gravity of the situation, Barne urges immediate action to rectify the problem and alleviate the hardship faced by the community, as stated in the official statement.
