The OnePlus Nord CE 4 is scheduled to launch in India on April 1, and the company has already confirmed key features ahead of the event. This new smartphone is positioned in the mid-range 5G category and is part of the Nord CE series. Despite recent releases of high-end premium handsets, OnePlus is strategically shifting focus to the mid-range market with the Nord series.

The upcoming Nord CE 4 is expected to deliver robust performance and power out of the box, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip. According to OnePlus, this latest processor minimizes power consumption, ensuring fast and smooth performance for improved battery life. The company claims a 15% improvement in CPU performance, a 50% boost in GPU performance, and a 20% increase in power savings compared to its predecessor.

OnePlus emphasizes that user experience and design have not been compromised, assuring consumers of a seamless and satisfying experience. The device features two or three rear cameras, as hinted in teaser images, with a redesigned rear panel compared to its predecessor, the Nord CE 3. The phone’s slim profile and appealing greenish color add to its aesthetic appeal, with Dark Chrome and Celadon Marble being the two available color options.

The latter variant, Celadon Marble, boasts a unique texture-based design inspired by the special edition OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey. While additional details about the device are currently undisclosed, OnePlus plans to reveal more features in the weeks leading up to the Nord CE 4 event.

Recalling the launch of its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord CE 3, last year with a starting price of Rs 26,999, the expectation for the next-generation model is to remain competitively priced, likely under Rs 30,000 in the Indian market. As anticipation builds, consumers can look forward to further insights into the OnePlus Nord CE 4’s specifications and capabilities as the launch date approaches.
