Over 2,500 Kothrud Women Celebrate with Paithani Game and Prizes

Kothrud, August 17:
In an atmosphere filled with laughter, traditional Marathi ‘ukhane,’ music, and entertainment, the women of Kothrud gathered for a grand celebration of the Paithani Game. The “Manglagaur” program brought back memories of their maternal homes for many of the women, creating a heartfelt and emotional atmosphere. During the event, many women won Paithanis and other grand prizes through a lucky draw.
The event, titled “Khel Rangla Paithanicha” and the women’s gathering, was organized by the Amol Balwadkar Foundation at Pandit Farm, Karvenagar, Kothrud, on August 17. To add to the excitement, a Manglagaur program and a lucky draw were also organized. The women from the Kothrud area participated with great enthusiasm, thoroughly enjoying the event. Madhavi Nimkar, the famous actress from the series “Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kay Asta,” graced the occasion. The event was hosted by RJ Akshay.
More than 2,500 women participated in this event. Participants from the “Ladkya Bahin Yojana” and many other women from the Kothrud area expressed their satisfaction and joy over the successful organization of the event.
Women Win Grand Prizes in Lucky Draw
The event featured a plethora of grand prizes for the winners. Sulabha Gajanan Dhumal won a washing machine, Apurva Nitin Tapkir won a mixer, Pushpa Ashok Pawar won a refrigerator, Sarika Tavare won a TV, and Shubhangi Pednekar won a two-wheeler. All the winners expressed immense joy and gratitude for winning the lucky draw. Additionally, attractive gifts were given to all participating women.
A Moment of Joy Amidst the Daily Hustle
The purpose of organizing this event was to provide a moment of relaxation for women in their hectic daily lives and to give them a platform to showcase their talents. The event received an overwhelming response from my sisters in Kothrud. I am committed to continuing such initiatives in the future.
