Palkhi sohola held at S3 Lifestyle Apartments
S3 Lifestyle Apartment in Pimple Saudagar on Datta Mandir road holds palkhi celebration every year for the last 4 .
“All society members and senior citizens kids participate and enjoy the event. It started in the morning at 9.30 with aarti of Lord Vitthal by decorating it’s palanquin. Palkhi procession was held with taal and mrudung. Bhajan and kirtan was also held.
At Datta Mandir again Aarti of Shree Datta Guru was held and after which the Palkhi came back in the society. We have around 15 members in our group who organise and do a planning for this celebration, ” said Nishad Madhemshettiwar, a society resident.
