Panchayat Season 4 Production Starts: Gain More Insights Into Release Date, Cast, Filming Locations, and Behind-the-Scenes Photos.

The eagerly awaited fourth season of Prime Video’s cherished series Panchayat has officially entered production, delighting fans in 240 countries and territories.

The series has followed a steady schedule of releasing new seasons every two years, starting with Season 1 on April 3, 2020, followed by Season 2 on May 20, 2022, and Season 3 set to debut in 2024.

To celebrate this milestone, the streaming platform released a behind-the-scenes photo showcasing series stars Jitendra Kumar, Chandan Roy, and Faisal Malik on set.

The Prime Video Original, produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), is crafted by Deepak Kumar Mishra, with the screenplay penned by Chandan Kumar. Direction is handled by both Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya.

Faisal Malik, known for his role as Banrakas, took a trip down memory lane with fans by sharing a photo of the clapperboard featuring the memorable phrase, “Dekh raha hai Binod,” a nod to Ashok Pathak’s character, Binod.

“Guruji jaldee se khatam karo shooting,” was  one of the comments. “I am waiting for this series,” is yet another. “Bahut badhiya bhusan ji ab maza aayega,” was another comment.

The newest installment of this rural comedy-drama is brought to you by The Viral Fever (TVF), with Deepak Kumar Mishra at the creative forefront and Chandan Kumar handling the writing. Directorial duties for the latest season are shared between Deepak Kumar Mishra and Akshat Vijaywargiya.

The full main cast is back, featuring Jitendra Kumar reprising his role as the cherished Sachiv ji. Joining him are seasoned actors Raghubir Yadav and Neena Gupta, along with Sanvikaa, Chandan Roy, and Faisal Malik, who will continue in their familiar roles.

Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, and Pankaj Jha are set to return, adding depth to the village’s story. The upcoming season will also introduce new cast members, bringing exciting new dynamics to the narrative.

Panchayat has received widespread praise, having recently won the first-ever best web series (OTT) award at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
