Parge Nagar Residents From Kondhwa Urge PMC And Pune Traffic Police To Resolve Traffic And Garbage Dumping Issues
A meeting was organized by Parge Nagar Residents Forum, an informal group of over 16 societies who are fighting to maintain cleanliness and resolve Traffic and other issues from the area. Over 250 Residents of the area came together yesterday to raise various issues troubling the Residents such as illegal Dumping on the newly made road from City Lawns To Lead school, double Lane parking from Welcome Hall To City Lawns outside cafe and coffee shops, parking of chicken carrying vehicles on the newly made road and youngsters making noise and chaos on the road by holding birthday celebrations.
The meeting saw attendance of Residents from Sobha Ivory, Sabha Garnet, Alcon Royce, Alcon Signare, Yash Rhythm 2, Kumar Palmgrove, Kumar Sublime and many other. The meeting saw presence of Kumar Ghadge, Police Inspector, Kondhwa Traffic Division, Ex MLA Mahadev Babar, Ex Corporators Tanaji Lonkar and Sangeeta Thosar, Nitin Khude, water department official and Navnath Shelar, sanitary Inspector Hadapsar ward office.
Residents also raised the issue of waterman demanding money to supply water high pressure and regularly and how dependency on tanker water is causing an imbalance on the society management.
Residents raised other issues such as parking by private cabs, chicken vehicles, illegal dumping, lack of police patrolling even when the Kondhwa police station is just a few meters away, coffee shops serving beyond permissible time limits, etc.
The residents are now planning to meet the Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner shortly to raise the issues pertaining to the area and demand accountability and solution to the problems.Â
