Parts Of Pune To Face Water Cuts On September 26
The Water Supply Department of Pune Municipal Corporation has announced that the water supply in South Pune will be shut off on Thursday, September 26, due to repair work at the Kedareshwar Pumping Station in Katraj. The maintenance work involves repairing the main valve and main water line.
Residents in several areas will be affected, including Balaji Nagar, Punai Nagar, Kashinath Patil Nagar, Sri Hari Society Premises, Katraj Village, Gujarwadi Fata, Gujarwadi Road, and Varkhade Nagar. Other affected areas include Omkar, Bhushan Society, Utkarsh Society, Rajas Society, Kadam Plaza Premises, Sukhsagar Nagar, Agam Mandir Premises, Santosh Nagar, Anjali Nagar, and Dattanagar.
Additionally, areas such as Jambhul Wadi Road, Ambegaon Road, Wonder City Premises, More Bagh Premises, Chandrabhaga Nagar, Bharti Vidyapeeth Back Premises, Katraj Kondhwa Road, Shivashambho Nagar, Gokulnagar, Sainagar, Gajanan Nagar, Kakade Vasti, Ashrafnagar, Green Park, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, and parts of Super Indira Nagar will also face water supply disruptions.
Other affected areas include ISKCON Temple Complex, Tilekarnagar, Kondhwa Budruk Village, Laxminagar, Somji Bus Stop Complex, Punyadham Ashram Road, Sai Service, Parge Nagar, Khadi Machine Area, Badhenagar, Yevlewadi, and Kamthe Patil Nagar.
The water supply department has informed that water will be supplied late and with low pressure on Friday, September 27. Residents are advised to make necessary arrangements for water storage and usage during this period. The Water Supply Department will restore regular water supply as soon as the maintenance work is completed.
