IRCTC issued an apology for the inconvenience, explaining that the onboard supervisor replaced the yoghurt immediately, and the pack was within the expiry date.
Last month, a passenger travelling from Rani Kamlapati to Jabalpur Junction on Vande Bharat Express on February 1 found a dead cockroach in the meal served by Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).
The matter is now being addressed with the manufacturer. This incident highlights a recurring concern regarding the quality of meals on Vande Bharat Express.
