Pune, November 21, 2024: A passenger traveling on an Air India flight from New Delhi to Pune on November 16 has expressed frustration over the airline’s handling of his lost baggage complaint. Naresh Kewalramani returned to Pune to find his luggage missing, and six days later, the issue remains unresolved.

Kewalramani claims that Air India closed his complaint without resolving the matter or providing updates. He criticized the airline’s “utter callousness” and lack of customer service, emphasizing that no interim compensation was offered for the inconvenience caused.

Passenger’s Statement

“How can a complaint be closed without resolving it?” Kewalramani asked, expressing disbelief that three days passed without concrete updates about his luggage. He shared a photo of his bag, described as an AmazonBasics bag with broken handles, to aid in its identification.

Air India’s Response

In response, Air India’s Customer Experience Team stated that the bag is still under tracing and apologized for the inconvenience caused. “We are working diligently to ensure that your belongings are delivered as soon as possible,” the airline’s representative, assured the team.

Despite the reassurances, Kewalramani remains dissatisfied, urging the airline to reopen his case and prioritize the return of his bag.
