Passengers Puzzled by Handwritten Tickets at Charbagh Railway Station
The unexpected sight of handwritten tickets left passengers surprised, sparking curiosity and social media buzz.
Travellers at Charbagh Railway Station were left nonplussed after receiving handwritten tickets, a rare occurrence in today’s digital era. Several passengers snapped photos of their tickets and even took pictures of the computer screen at the ticket counter, unaware of the printing issue. Some shared the novelty of their handwritten tickets on social media, having never encountered such a situation before.
A station official explained, “There was likely a problem with the printer.” Despite the confusion, travellers began asking personnel at the counter about the unusual tickets. One passenger, an IT professional, who booked a ticket to Pune for October, described the experience: “The ticket had details like the PNR number, train number, date of journey and class written with a blue pen. Writing all this took quite some time.”
To ensure everything was in order for their upcoming journeys, passengers took pictures of the ticket counter’s computer, concerned about potential issues later. This unusual incident quickly became a topic of discussion, both at the station and online.
