Recently, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol directed Pune Airport authorities to allow Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) buses inside the new terminal. However, it appears that the orders have fallen on deaf ears. As per information, due to opposition from the Aeromall administration, PMPML buses are not allowed to enter, causing inconvenience to passengers.

Currently, PMPML runs a bus service from Ramwadi to Pune Airport, but since the buses cannot enter the new terminal, they have to stop outside near Aeromall. As a result, many passengers are unaware of the PMPML service and are forced to take private cabs, which are much costlier.

Even though affordable transport options like PMPML buses and Metro are available, passengers are unable to use them conveniently due to this restriction.

PMPML had officially requested the airport authorities to provide space for buses inside the new terminal. After passengers raised the issue with Minister Murlidhar Mohol, he directed the airport authorities to permit PMPML buses. However, even after a month, no action has been taken.

Aeromall and airport authorities claim that alternative arrangements have been made by providing space near Aeromall, but passengers continue to face difficulties.

Despite government intervention, PMPML buses remain outside, adding to passenger woes.
