PCMC Anti-Encroachment department to take off hoardings, banners to strictly follow the code of conduct

Chinchwad: Following the announcement of by-poll in the Chinchwad Assembly, the code of conduct has come into effect and therefore, the Assistant Commissioner Rajesh Agale of Anti-Encroachment Department has directed beat inspectors and anti-encroachment inspectors to immediately remove the banners and hoardings of political parties.

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Dhole, now election decision officer of the Chinchwad Legislative Assembly has ordered to ensure that the code of conduct is not violated.  Action is being taken at the regional office level through the anti-encroachment team of the Municipal Corporation to remove political banners, boards or hoardings where the code of conduct is applicable. 

To speed up this action, a meeting was held with all beat inspectors and encroachment inspectors in the field office in the presence of Rajesh Agale. Public Relations officer Kiran Gaikwad, Anti-Encroachment Inspector and Beat Inspector of Regional Offices were present during the meeting which was held in the building of C Regional Office at Thergaon.

In the meeting, instructions were given to all beat inspectors, and anti-encroachment inspectors to make frequent inspections in their areas. Assistant Commissioner Agle has also ordered the concerned to send the daily action report to the Anti-Encroachment Department.
