Pimpri, January 16, 2026: Following the completion of polling for the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) General Elections 2026, the counting of votes will commence on January 16, 2026, at 10 am at eight designated locations across the civic body limits. The information was shared by Commissioner and Election Officer Shravan Hardikar.

He clarified that only authorised personnel holding valid identity cards issued by the Election Department will be permitted entry at the vote counting centres. Adequate arrangements have been made for traffic regulation, parking facilities, and a separate media enclosure near the counting venues. To ensure transparency and accuracy in the declaration of results, a computerised counting system will be used.

Ward-wise Vote Counting Centres and Rounds

For Wards 10, 14, 15, and 19, counting will take place at the Local Bodies Tax Office, Hedgewar Bhavan, Pradhikaran, Sector 26, Nigdi.

Ward 10: 17 rounds

Wards 14 and 19: 18 rounds each

Ward 15: 15 rounds

Counting for Wards 16, 17, 18, and 22 will be held at the Small Hall, Auto Cluster, Chinchwad.

Wards 16 and 22: 14 rounds each

Wards 17 and 18: 16 rounds each

Votes for Wards 2, 6, 8, and 9 will be counted at Sant Dnyaneshwar Sports Complex, Indrayani Nagar, Bhosari.

Ward 2: 21 rounds

Ward 6: 17 rounds

Ward 8: 20 rounds

Ward 9: 18 rounds

For Wards 25, 26, 28, and 29, counting will take place at the D Ward Office, Aundh–Ravet BRT Road, Rahatani.

Wards 25 and 29: 20 rounds each

Wards 26 and 28: 21 rounds each

The Kabbadi Training Centre, behind Ankushrao Landge Theatre, Bhosari, will serve as the counting venue for Wards 3, 4, 5, and 7, with the strong room on the ground floor and counting on the first floor.

Ward 3: 18 rounds

Wards 4, 5, and 7: 16 rounds each

Votes for Wards 1, 11, 12, and 13 will be counted at Gharkul Chikhali Town Hall, near Spine Road, Sector 17/19, Chikhali.

Ward 1: 17 rounds

Ward 11: 16 rounds

Ward 12: 14 rounds

Ward 13: 15 rounds

For Wards 21, 23, 24, and 27, counting will be conducted at Late Shankar (Anna) Gawade Memorial Kamgar Bhavan, Thergaon.

Ward 21: 17 rounds

Ward 23: 10 rounds

Ward 24: 14 rounds

Ward 27: 16 rounds

Lastly, Wards 20, 30, 31, and 32 will have their votes counted at the PCMC Kasarwadi Vegetable Market (double-storey hall), with counting on the ground floor and the strong room on the second floor.

Ward 20: 20 rounds

Ward 30: 16 rounds

Ward 31: 19 rounds

Ward 32: 17 rounds

The civic administration has assured that all necessary arrangements are in place to ensure a smooth, transparent, and orderly counting process, with results to be announced systematically ward by ward.
