PCMC fire brigade introduces ‘Fire Bullets’

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s fire brigade has introduced motorbikes called ‘fire bullets’ which will help in reaching narrow areas faster. These bikes will be able to quickly reach the spots which are in congested areas. Six to seven such bikes have been introduced by the PCMC.

The bikes hold a capacity of storing 40 litres of water tanks alongside its capacity to reach the two-storey houses and buildings. The bikes are under training and no official confirmation on its availability has been provided by the Fire brigade.

According to the official sources of the Fire Brigade, “The fire brigade will include these bikes in operations when the teams are qualified with their training.”
