PCMC issues fresh advisory as dengue cases on the rise

Pune: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has issued a list of precautions to be taken by everyone to prevent Dengue.
As per further information from X handle of PCMC, citizens must follow the following precautions carefully to prevent Dengue:
· Due to the onset of monsoon, the cooler should not be used and its water tank should be kept dry
· Water should not be accumulated around the house, if there is water, it should be drained and the space to be dried immediately
· The water storage vessel or tank should be covered
· Care should be taken that water does not accumulate in the debris on the roof of the house
· People should not allow water to accumulate in the tray behind the refrigerator, plant pots or other useless objects
· In case any kind of fever is detected, that person must go to the nearest primary health center immediately for examination
It was just a few days ago that a slight increase was seen in the number of Dengue cases in Pune as 63 positive cases were detected in September 2023.
