PCMC opens vaccination facility for students studying in foreign universities

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rajesh Patil on June 2,2021  informed that the civic body has opened a special facility of Vaccination for senior citizens, differently abled and medically ill patients who have mobility issues. Such citizens can register themselves on Me Jababdar mobile application.

Except for Sunday these citizens can walk-in to the nearest Vaccination center and get themselves vaccinated. In this drive, citizens above 45 + years can get Covishield first and second dose, health workers, frontline workers and Covaxin second dose will be given too. Differently-abled people shall be given the first priority. Lactating women whose child is less than one year old shall be given Vaccination on priority. Carrying birth certificate at the Vaccination center is a must for lactating mothers. 
Residents of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation between the age group of 18-44 years and are seeking education in foreign countries can also get themselves vaccinated. Students must carry confirmation letter from the University, visa, all necessary documents, I -20, and DS 160. 

Students can get themselves vaccinated after registering on the Me Jababdar application and visiting the New Jijamata Hospital in Pimpri. Those who register on Thursday to Wednesday shall be vaccinated on Saturday. Vaccination shall remain close on Sunday. 

Medically ill patients and mentally ill patients who have mobility issues must register on the Me Jababdar application, Vaccination to them will be provided at their doorstep.
