Assistant Commissioner of PCMC Taxation and Tax Collection Department Nilesh Deshmukh along with the officers of his department on Saturday cleared various doubts like how to transfer property online, how much tax exemption is available if the house is in the name of a woman, what documents are required for it etc. It was also requested to co-operate for the property survey.

As per further information from the PCMC, on the lines of public meeting of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, online and offline tax related communication is being conducted with the concept of Nilesh Deshmukh, Assistant Commissioner of Tax Collection Department. 

In this, citizens of the city are sitting at home and getting answers for their questions, so the citizens are getting a spontaneous response to the tax dialogue.

Nilesh Deshmukh, Assistant Commissioner, PCMC Taxation and Tax Collection Department, said “Property owners have various questions. However, due to lack of time, they cannot come to the office. That is why tax communication is being conducted on the last Saturday of the month both online and offline on behalf of the department. There is a great response from the property owners and this is turning out to be a ‘milestone dialogue’.”

In this dialogue, citizens were appealed to cooperate for the ongoing property survey in the city. The importance of how this survey is beneficial to property owners was emphasized. Accordingly, the property information will be updated by giving easy numbers to all the properties that are not levied in the survey. Providing UPIC ID in property survey will be useful for coordination between all municipal services and other departments of the government in future.

Facilitation for citizens to keep important documents related to property safe through ‘Property Locker’ on the lines of ‘Digi Locker’, update information and address by accurate calculation of property, increase trustworthiness of property and help ease purchase and sale transactions, after collecting complete information regarding property taxation, direct survey of rain water harvesting, solar power, solid waste segregation etc facilities will be inspected & recorded on the spot in the survey.

While doing this, citizens’ digital privacy will be preserved. Assistant Commissioner Nilesh Deshmukh along with his team gave all the information in this tax dialogue.
