Pune Constable Seema Valvi Bravely Stops Violent Clash, Apprehends 5 Culprits in Swift 20-Minute Operation
A constable of Chandannagar police station Seema Valvi was going home from work when she saw a group of people with sickles in their hands fighting with each other. Citizens were completely terrified due to this. At that time, Valvi parked her vehicle on the side of the road & intervened in the matter immediately.
As per information from Pune City Police, Valvi told them not to fight with each other. However, the gang was still beating & injured several people. At that time, Valvi rescued the injured persons, immediately called other police staff to the spot and detained 5 accused in just 20 minutes.
The 5 arrested accused are identified as Anuj Yadav, Harikesh Chavan, Akash Pawar, Amol Chorghade & Sandesh Kamble. Several people, who were seriously injured in the violence, have been immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Further information regarding this incident is, on December 24, a terrifying incident occurred in Vadgaon Sheri when a resident Saurabh Padle filed FIR against several people for vicious assault at the Chandan Nagar police station.
The accused have been charged under Sections 307, 326, 324, 143, 144, 147, 148, 149, of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) & relevant sections of the Arms Act & Maharashtra Police Act.
Regarding the outstanding & courageous operation of the police officer Seema Valvi, the Commissioner of Pune Police Retesh Kumaarr, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ramnath Pokle, Additional Commissioner of Police, Eastern Regional Division, Pune, Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime, Amol Zende, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Circle no 03, Shashikant Borate & other police officials congratulated Seema Valvi and the entire police team present during the incident. Seema Valvi has also been felicitated for this brave operation.
