PCMC sets up helpline to raise complaints about illegal hoardings

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has set up a toll free number where the citizens can raise complaints about unauthorised hoardings, flex, banners, etc.

The PCMC has set up a helpline number 67333333 – extension number 1122 and 8888006666 where the citizens can raise their complaints.
Nilesh Deshmukh, assistant commissioner (license department), Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation informed that the according to PIL filed at the Hon’ble Bombay High Court 155/2011 wherein the judgement as per 06/08/2014 all regional ward officers have been appointed as local officers to control the menace caused by these unauthorised hoardings.

If local ward officers do not take cognisance of the complaints, the residents can seek help from the nodal officer or assistant commissioner 9sky sign department). PCMC has set up these helplines wherein such complaints regarding defacing caused by the flex, banners can be raised.
PCMC has urged the residents to raise complaints against unauthorised hoardings by calling up on the helpline numbers.
