Member of Legislative Assembly Ashwini Jagtap inaugurated Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s ‘Ranjai’ Festival

The festival, which includes the 26th Flowers, Fruits, Vegetables, Gardens, Plantation Competition and Exhibition, is being held from March 10 to 12, in the city at Mayors residence, sector 27, near Sant Tukaram udyan, Nigdi pradhikaran.

The event was attended by Additional Commissioner Pradip Jambhale Patil, former Deputy Mayor Shailja More, Deputy Commissioner Ravikiran Ghodke, Subhash Ingle, Zonal Officer Suchita Pansare, Park Superintendent Gorakh Gosavi, and representatives from several schools including Shivbhoomi High School and Jr. College, Camp Education Society High School and Junior College Nigdi, Gyandeep Secondary and Sou Anusaya Gadhokar, Higher Secondary School, Yasashvi Primary and Secondary Marathi and English Medium Schools, and Saraswati Vidyalaya.

The exhibition featured various competitions held in the garden areas of 11 divisions, with participants from various sectors and industry groups. The winning contestants were felicitated by Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh, who gave badges of honor and encouraging help. The first-place winners were also given moving cups.

In addition to the competitions, the festival featured special live bands, clown experiments, live painting presentations, and different types of flowers, fruits, and tree saplings available for buying and selling.

The exhibition is open to all until March 12th and is free of charge. Deputy Commissioner Subhash Ingle introduced the program, moderated by Srikant Chowgule and RJ Akshay, while Public Relations Prafulla Puranik thanked the audience.

Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh appealed to all citizens to attend the “Ranjai” festival in large numbers over the next two days.
