Phoenix Marketcity Pune collects 5000 toys in donation drive

January 07, 2022: Phoenix Marketcity, Pune enters the New Year by successfully collecting and donating around 5000 gifts to 10 NGOs, with a conscious purpose of bringing smiles back on the faces of the less privileged children. After a bleak 2020, the mall had geared up to take a lead in urging people to drive change and give back to society by providing them a platform to do so through a well-planned donation drive that will bring happiness and hope to these children.

In its humble effort to start a new tradition of delivering love to the children, Phoenix Marketcity Pune along with Kotak Bank- the official Banking Partner, RED FM- the official Radio Partner, My Gate- the official Community Partner, Ink & Drink- the official Event Partner, and Circle of Crust- the official F&B Partner, Times NIE – The Outreach Partner, Supported by NGO – Ray of Joy and extended support by Rotary District 3131 lead by Rotary Club of Poona Airport, Rotaract Club of Pune Cantonment & FICCI FLO Pune chapter came together for the Toy Donation Drive.
The drive was announced on the 12 December 2021 and concluded on 31st December 2021. The drive urged everyone to create goodwill by honoring gentle souls by donating toys that were in good condition. Phoenix Marketcity made sure that the toys were all in good condition, were sanitized, and packed hygienically to be delivered to NGO’s

During the drive, popular television actors Teejay Sandhu, Tannaz Irani, and Vabhiz Dorabjee visited the mall to witness the entire process. They also traveled to one of the Anganwadi’s located in Yerawada, donated gifts, and spent jolly time with the children.

Commenting on the success of the drive Arun Arora, the Centre Director, Phoenix Marketcity Pune said “We are proud to organize and successfully conclude the ‘Toy Donation Drive’.
