PhonePe to launch its new Indus Appstore

Pune: The Google Play Store will soon get tough competition and it appears that the monopoly will also end soon. Recently, PhonePe launched a new app store exclusively for Indian users called Indus.
The Google Play Store is a reliable marketplace for Android users to access and download a wide variety of applications. However, many app companies have voiced dissatisfaction over the arbitrary charges for listing their apps on the platform.
The upcoming Indus app store is expected to challenge the dominance of the Google Play Store. PhonePe has recently revealed the Indus Android App Store to address these concerns and cater to the needs of Indian Android users. The Indus App Store will offer users the opportunity to download a diverse range of applications alongside the Google Play Store.
Additionally, all applications on the Indus platform will be available free of charge for the first year. Furthermore, the Indus App Store will support around 12 Indian languages, benefiting both app companies and users. The app listing fees on this platform will also be significantly reduced. PhonePe has emphasized the wide array of gaming apps available on the Play Store.
