Pimpri Chinchwad Civic Body Launches Online ‘No Objection Certificate’ System for Election Aspirants
PCMC Chief Issues Show-Cause Notices to 1,329 Polling Staff for Missing Mandatory Election Training
Pimpri, December 16, 2025:
Ahead of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) general elections, the civic body has introduced a dedicated online system for issuing No Objection Certificates (NOC) to aspiring candidates. The initiative aims to make the nomination process simpler, faster and more transparent by enabling candidates to apply for the mandatory NOC online through the corporation’s official website.
The facility has been launched under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner and Election Officer Shravan Hardikar, Additional Commissioner Vijaykumar Khorate, and under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner (Election) Sachin Pawar. With this system in place, candidates can now submit their NOC applications from home, eliminating the need for repeated visits to municipal offices.
While submitting the online application, candidates are required to provide their Aadhaar card number as identity proof along with other essential personal details. Civic officials stated that the new system ensures a transparent, streamlined and user-friendly process. To assist applicants, the PCMC website also features a step-by-step informational video explaining the application procedure in detail.
In addition to the NOC facility, the municipal corporation has made several key election-related details available on its official website for citizens and candidates. These include the draft electoral roll, details of possible duplicate voter names, information related to the reservation draw, the final ward structure, and the draft ward formation.
Officials said the move is part of PCMC’s efforts to leverage digital platforms to ensure smooth conduct of the civic elections and provide timely, accurate information to stakeholders.
How to Apply for the No Objection Certificate:
- Visit the official Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation website: www.pcmcindia.gov.in
- Click on the ‘Municipal Corporation General Election’ option

The civic body has urged all aspiring candidates to make use of the online system and complete the required formalities well within the stipulated election timeline.
