Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Apprehend 384 Criminals in Special Drive

In a successful operation, the Pimpri-Chinchwad police have arrested 384 criminals, including 12 absconding offenders, 204 wanted criminals, and 110 individuals apprehended through the issuance of non-bailable warrants. This information was revealed during a press briefing on Tuesday by Vinay Kumar Chaubey, the Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police.

The drive, initiated by Commissioner Chaubey, aimed to capture absconding, wanted, and other fugitive criminals. The arrests took place between February 7 and March 10 of this year.

Swapna Gore, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) at Pimpri-Chinchwad police, stated, “Following the instructions of our seniors, we conducted a special drive to apprehend long-time absconding and wanted criminals. We also recognized and appreciated the exemplary work of high-performing police stations and officers, encouraging them to continue their dedication in the future.”

Commissioner Chaubey commended all the officers and in-charge of police stations involved in the operation. He emphasized that the police will persist in taking decisive action against individuals who are either absconding, wanted, or evading the law.
