In recognition of his exceptional service, Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey is set to be honored with the prestigious President’s Police Medal. The announcement of the award for exemplary contributions in Maharashtra has been unveiled ahead of Independence Day 2023, with Vinay Kumar Choubey being among the distinguished recipients, along with three other eminent officials from the state.

The President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service is a testament to individuals who have demonstrated remarkable commitment, resourcefulness, and loyalty in their service. This award is bestowed upon those who have showcased an exceptional record of participation in specialized duties within the police force.

According to available information, Vinay Kumar Choubey, alongside two other accomplished Maharashtra officials, will be bestowed with this esteemed recognition. Additional Director General (Special Operations) Pravin Sayajirao Salunkhe and Special Inspector General of Police Amravati Jayant Jagannath Naiknavare are also set to receive the distinguished honor.

Furthermore, the occasion of Independence Day 2023 will witness a total of 954 police personnel being acknowledged with police medals. Among them, 229 individuals will be awarded the Police Gallantry Medal, 82 will be presented with the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PPM), and 642 will receive the Police Medal (PM) for Meritorious Service.
