The annual meeting of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Small Industries Association was held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.  

Firstly, the balance sheet for the two years 2022–23 and 2023–24 was discussed, and approval was obtained from all the members. 

‘The accomplishments of the previous annual year were discussed to see if they had been able to accomplish the decided target or not. Amongst this, one very important issue that was solved was the dissolvement of property tax. It was liable to the industries as well. 

Moreover, issues with the Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) are implemented to be resolved. Such things as transformers have been changed at several places, and cables have been installed in Pimpri-Chinchwad. 

Along with that, problems faced by Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) included improper roads, garbage, and water pollution issues. To resolve these issues and take strict action, a meeting was held with the PCMC Commissioner, after which several of these issues were resolved and some are still in progress. Moreover, CETP has also gotten approval and will be fixed, and STP will be connected to water bodies to resolve the issue of water contamination.

“GST issues were also resolved, such as the huge GST on automobile materials. Moreover, a strict eye will be kept on firms that dont pay GST to the government. 

The main aim is towards the development of infrastructure, curb water contamination, and river pollution,’ said Sandeep Belsare, President of the Organisation. 

The meeting saw the presence of President Sandeep Belsare, Annual General Meeting Vice President Sanjay Jagtap, Vinod Nanekar, Directors Sanjay Satav, Navnath Vivaal, Praveen Londhe, Pramod Rane, Sachin Adak, Accepted Directors Tatya Sapkal, Manik Padwal, Sanjay Bhosale, Shripati Khune, Suresh Gavas, Narendra Nikam, Promod Divte, and Members of Organisation Ajay Lokhande, Ganrang Bankar, and Ganesh Khedkar, and was moderated by Secretary Sanjay Kad.
