Pimpri: Fire breaks out at Bank of Baroda branch in Kharalwadi, no injuries reported
The furniture material and documents kept in the bank have been gutted into the fire, said Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporations fire department officials.
Fire broke out at the Bank of Baroda branch in Kharalwadi area of Pimpri Chinchwad in the early hours on Saturday, May 6 causing damage to the office furniture material and important documents. According to officials of the fire brigade of Pimpri Chinchwad they received a call at around 2:30 am on Saturday.
The fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot and bank officials were also called in. The fire brigade team extinguished the fire, no injuries or casualty was reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is short circuit , informed fire department officials.
Total 11 firemen were involved in extinguishing the fire at the spot including Amol Chiplunkar, Vishal Phadtare, Gautam Ingawale, Sachin Khade, Vikas Suryavanshi, Yogesh Kumbhar, Rahul Jadhav, Rishikesh Ghode, Dinesh Pataskar, Aditya Jadhav, Omkar Kadam. Â
