Pune : New Integrated Terminal Building at Pune airport to have 34 check-in counters
The new building at the Pune airport will have ample of services which will help in easing congestion and reduce the check in time of the passengers.
The construction of the New Integrated Terminal Building (NITB) at Pune Airport is nearing completion and it is expected to be commissioned in September 2023. The new terminal will have 34 check-in counters, five passenger boarding bridges, and an in-line baggage handling system. The building will be centrally air-conditioned and will have 27,000 sq. ft. of space for F&B and retail outlets.
The NITB is expected to be a 4 Star GRIHA-rated building, indicating its energy efficiency. The total cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 475 Crore. Passengers using Pune Airport can expect a comfortable and efficient travel experience with the modern facilities available in the new terminal building. It was just recently, that the Digi Yatra Recognition System was launched at Pune Airport.
