Pimpri News : ‘Pustak Aplya Daari’ at Pimple-Saudagar societies

Pimpri-Chinchwad Culture Foundation and Sunidhi Publishers have teamed up to launch a new initiative called ‘Pustak Aplya Daari‘ in Pimpri-Chinchwad. The programme aims to promote reading and spread awareness about the benefits of book reading by providing access to books and other reading materials. The response to the initiative has been overwhelming, with residents of Pimple Saudagar and Planet Millennium society expressing enthusiasm for the same. The collaboration between the culture foundation and the publishers is having a positive impact on the community and is helping promote love for reading among residents.
Gitanjali Joshi, the daughter of the late well-known writer N.C. Phadke, also praised the activity. She said that this book library is not about setting up a shop, but it is a big work to reach out to people and increase reading culture.

When Pune Pulse spoke to a resident Of Planet Millennium society, he said, “It is a great initiative by Pimpri-Chinchwad cultural foundation with Sunidhi publishers. My best wishes for this. I believe that this would definitely spread awareness among citizens.” 

“We have taken this initiative to spread awareness about reading books especially in youngsters who are busy on mobile phones these days, and we see a great response for this Initiative in all the societies in Pimple-Saudagar and Pimpri-Chinchwad,” said Vijay Bhise, president, Pimpri-Chinchwad Cultural Foundation
