PM Modi Launches Five Vande Bharat Express Trains, Boosting Connectivity

Pune: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a significant development in the Indian Rail network as he flagged off five Vande Bharat Express trains from the Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal. These trains will enhance connectivity across various states including Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Bihar and Jharkhand.
The five Vande Bharat Express trains flagged off by PM Modi are the Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express, Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express and Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express.
The Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express will connect the Mahakaushal Region (Jabalpur) to the Central Region (Bhopal) of Madhya Pradesh, significantly reducing travel time compared to existing trains on the route.
The Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express will improve connectivity between the Malwa Region (Indore) and Bundelkhand Region (Khajuraho) with the Central Region (Bhopal), offering a faster journey compared to the current fastest train on this route.
The Madgaon (Goa)-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express marks Goa’s first Vande Bharat Express, operating between Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Madgaon station in Goa.
The Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will connect key cities in Karnataka, including Dharwad, Hubballi, and Davangere, with the state capital, Bengaluru, providing a time-saving travel option.
Lastly, the Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express will be the first Vande Bharat Express serving Jharkhand and Bihar, reducing journey time by approximately one hour and twenty-five minutes on this route.
The introduction of these Vande Bharat Express trains reflects the government’s commitment to improving railway infrastructure and connectivity, offering passengers faster and more efficient travel options across multiple states.
