Hyderabad, September 23 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Kacheguda – Yesvantpur & Vijayawada – MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express trains on September 24 through Video link.

The Prime Minister will flag-off nine Vande Bharat trains across the Nation including two services in the SCR jurisdiction, South Central Railway (SCR) said in a release here on Friday.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Raosaheb Dadarao Patil Danve, Union Minister of State for Railways, Ms Darshana Vikram Jardosh, Union Minister of State for Railways will also participate in the program through virtual mode simultaneously.

A function will be held at the Kacheguda Railway Station.
Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy are likely to participate in the program.

A function will also be held at Vijayawada Railway Station simultaneously.
Andhra Pradesh Governor Justice Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are likely to participate in the program.

The most prestigious train on the Indian Railways network -Vande Bharat Express will now run between the two cities in southern states which are popular hubs for Information Technology.

This is the third Vande Bharat train from the state of Telangana while this is the first to connect Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The train is indigenously designed with innovative features and state-of-the-art technology.

Hyderabad – Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express train will be operated between Kacheguda and Yesvantpur via Mahabubnagar of Telangana, Kurnool, Anantapur & Dharmavaram of Andhra Pradesh.

The train consists of 1 Executive Class and 7 Chair Car coaches with seating capacity of 530 passengers. This will be the fastest train between the two cities with least journey time when compared with other trains in this route.

Vijayawada – MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express train will be operated between Vijayawada and MGR Chennai Central of Tamil Nadu via Tenali, Ongole, Nellore & Renigunta of Andhra Pradesh.

The train consists of 1 Executive Class and 7 Chair Car coaches with seating capacity of 530 passengers. This will be the first & fastest train in this route between Vijayawada and Chennai.
