Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to visit Mumbai, Satara, and Pune on February 19, but for some unknown reasons, his tour has been cancelled. During his tour of the state, he was to be honoured with an award on the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Hence, there was a lot of enthusiasm among all the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers. However, the next dates of PM Modi’s tour will be announced soon.

PM Modi was supposed to visit Shivneri Fort in Pune on Shivaji Jayanti. After Shivneri Fort, he was scheduled to visit Aandhali Dam in Man Taluka and Satara to receive his Shiv Samman Award on February 19. BJP workers were organising everything and making all the arrangements in Pune and Satara, but due to the tour getting cancelled, every effort is wasted now.

MP Udayanraje Bhosale was the one awaiting Prime Minister Modi’s visit. In addition, Ranjitsinh Naik Nimbalkar, the current Madha MP, contested as well. The 19th of February is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birth anniversary, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was going to visit Western Maharashtra on this day.

The water from the Jihe Katapur Yojana, which was constructed in Man Taluka’s Andhali Dam in honour of Prime Minister Modi’s Guru Laxmanrao Inamdar, was discharged during this visit. Prime Minister Modi was scheduled to perform this water’s jalpuja on February 19. However, his tour has been cancelled. BJP officials said that Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Satara and Man has been postponed due to some reason.
