PM Narendra Modi flags off Ruby Hall Clinic to Ramwadi route and lays foundation of PCMC to Nigdi Metro route 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (March 6) laid the foundation stone of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to Nigdi Metro stretch. On this occasion, the Prime Minister flagged off the Ruby Hall Clinic to Ramwadi Metro stretch. 

As per further information, the Prime Minister inaugurated various projects and Bhoomi Pujan in Kolkata as well. This time, he launched these metro projects in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad through an online system. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also participated. 

Earlier, on March 6, 2022, the 7-kilometers PCMC to Phugewadi Metro stretch and 5-kilometers Vanaz to Garware Metro stretch were inaugurated by the Prime Minister. The Metro stretch of Phugewadi to Civil Court is 6.91 km and Garware to Ruby Clinic is 4.75 km, which were inaugurated by the Prime Minister on 1 August 2023; and today, the 6-kilometers Metro stretch from Ruby Hall Clinic to Ramwadi has been inaugurated by the Prime Minister.

The foundation stone of the Metro stretch from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to Nigdi was also laid by the Prime Minister. This route is 4.4 km and is a fully elevated route.

For the past two years, massive development works have been going on in Maharashtra under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The state has also made huge provisions for railways and metros which are benefiting the citizens. 

Due to increasing urbanization, there is a need for smart and quality transportation. Metro service will fulfill this requirement and will also save a lot of fuel and time.

CM Eknath Shinde said “Maharashtra is benefiting greatly as all the projects and development works guaranteed by PM Modi are going on at full speed.”

Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the development of infrastructure in Pune has gained momentum. The Ruby Hall Clinic to Ramwadi Metro stretch, inaugurated today, will make Vanaz to Ramwadi Metro journey easier. As the PCMC to Nigdi Metro stretch is starting, the city of Pimpri-Chinchwad will also benefit from it in future.”
